Also, you may want to use gloves. i flush the lock out with a non graphite lubricant ideally with silicone. any idea what the problem is? as i said in my other post, i just got a new latch from the stealer and put it in. Thanks for your kindness!! When I didnt see it, I was getting low on daylight so put everything back together. works great.

Thanks for the info! After four months my locks are still going strong. I think it is one of those type connectors where you push on the tab and pull not pull up on the tab (these tabs can break easy). I just wanted to share a little fix I did for my failing / sluggish power locks on my 2000 F150 4X4.

I saved the old actuator, actually...so I'll perform surgery on it tomorrow! If I have something more complex... I think Ill try that on the other doors. I also had the dreaded busted spring, on the driver side door, on my 2001 XLT Explorer.
Just go slow as not to break off any of the plastic clips.
