I was having the same problem with the same setup (XP works on all sites, Mac doesn't work on many sites). I'm afraid I use satellite broadband not normal adsl telephone line broadband and these setings are unavailable to me. O. Change the option to "Set access for specific services and applications", if it's not already.

It affects no other webpage, and is not a problem for any other Mac in the house. ive used Avast antivirus and iAntivirus (not at the same time) to try and find something that may be blocking facebook but its not working.
