I didn't have a ABS light on but if there was a code it should remain in the system for 50 starts with out ABS issues.. It's as if some type of pulse is being sent back through the OBD II that zaps the scan tool. go to make a left turn into my driveway again, and the steering wheel is shaking like crazy in my hands. Moral of the story is don't buy the cheap hub bearings. the wheel speed sensor is probably the cause. The symptoms stated don't add up to a "voltage spike." Couple parts later: drive line(busted off on freeway on ride home), battery(owner left dome light on, and fuel fill pipe(someone cut to siphon gas).
