When i connect dvd drives, the led on that drive blinks & is detected by the system in device manager. When I restart, it asked for Windows repair, and I did it.

Any help? Now I have followed your suggestions about registry key and it no longer even powers anything. If Device Driver Rollback does not resolve the problem, then use System Restore to return your computer to the operating state that existed before you installed the new driver. What happens when the device is connected?
