Is there anyway to initiate Windows setup on the restore partition from a cmd prompt, a XP floppy startup disk or some other aproach. I was initially a little unsure about this because I've had hardware problems in the past when doing this kind of troubleshooting. Lab colleague uses cracked software. The time now is 12:04 PM.
Try going to system preferences, then sound then select a device for sound output to headphones as "name" and headphones port as "type." Go back and test your volume keys.
