Fan Controller Not Working


I would venture to guess that it was a defect in the fan controller... No damage on the PCB and the soldering looked good, so I suspect the issue was with the molex itself. That means you can't control their speed through the bios, but fans like that sometimes have a switch that allows you to adjust the speed between 2-3 settings. It's like it's there, but that's all. Also verify the power cable is attached to the fan controller. Since all your case ventilation fans are 3-pin type, you must set the ports that way. Think it is on the 3v and has a 7v and 12v setting I think. Only miss the convenience of being able to speed all the fans up at a flip of a switch.
