It's also not very obvious because the file is hidden to the operating system. This is signified by the "." in the beginning of the file. Not the answer you're looking for? I've also discovered a utility called "Easyfind" which does file searches without indexes. For example: I type "somefile." into spotlight and I can see the file "somefile.c" that I'm looking for. This is INSANE!
