It still doesn't work. I disconnected the coax cable from my FIOS router prior to to switching out the router for about 30 min or so and the STB was working fine. I thikn you sdaid you checked that, but just checking.Any change you could plug the PC using the cable from one of the two existing ethernet wired devices which must be if you can get into your ONT, you can actually run the Ethernet from the ONT to your router yourself.

However, I don't think it would hurt if you did it. 3) Your new router will need to have the option to change your MAC, since not all offer that feature. Seems that some folks are able to make it work without copying the MAC, but some aren't. And the GATEWAY has changed?
